Shri Ram Navami is directly associated with Maryada Purushottam, Lord Rama. Maryada Purushottam Shri Rama is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Why and the way Shri Ram was born
According to mythological texts and Puranas, Lord Shri Rama was incarnated in Treta Yuga. the sole purpose of his birth was to welfare the person , to line the instance of a perfect man for human society and to determine religion by destroying unrighteousness. Actually Lord Sri Rama’s father King Dasharatha had three marriages.
His majesty was pervaded altogether ten directions. But he didn’t get a son from his three queens. When King Dasharatha spoke to the sage sages about this, he advised King Dasharatha to perform the Putreshti Yajna. When King Dasaratha got the Kheer he received from the Yajna after performing the Putreshti Yajna, he gave that Kheer to his beloved wife Kaushalya.
After which Kaushalya gave half it to Kaikeyi and Kaikeyi gave half his share to Sumitra, the third wife of King Dasharatha. Where on the one hand, Lord Shri Rama was born to Chaitra Shukla Navami with Punarsu Nakshatra and mother Kaushalya’s womb in Cancer Ascendant. So on the opposite hand Kaikeyi gave birth to Bharata and Sumitra gave birth to Lakshmana and Shatrughna.
